Apex Legends is a pretty difficult game to grasp at first, with all of the moving pieces of a battle Royale, yet also adding the element of classes. Apex legends brings another layer of depth to it’s battle royale with significant recoil patterns, clip size adjustments, headshot bonuses and more to the various weapons in the game. Today we’re going to discuss the brand new weapon released this week called the Havoc. It is an energy rifle, in the assault rifle class (with the R-301 and the Hemlock) that adds a new utility for Energy ammo in Apex Legends. It’s a mid range monster with the turbocharger, with an option to add hitscan to your repetoire using a select fire Hop Up. Overall, the gun brings variety, fun, and a adds a layer of depth and high skill to a weapon that showcases Respawns ability to add interesting content that isn’t just overpowered. I like it!

  1. Nice video man I will say the selectfire is a very good mod I find anyways, at mid range perhaps a 3x hcog the wind up is quite long but as you said with the hitscan mechanic it can make it a deadly midrange sniper even in late games to apply pressure say for people that are trying camp camp a high ground blocking your path the turbocharger makes the weapon a very nice pick especially with the handling but the selectfire is definitely underrated for it its helped me apply the pressure I need to say relocate to a more advantages locale all in all havoc rifle is a nice addition to apex thanks for the video

  2. I don't normally leave comments but I had to complement you for this video. There was no intro waffle, it was direct and to the point. Contained all necessary information and you came across as very well spoken and likeable. Great job, you've earned a subscriber!

  3. My issue with the havoc is the recoil. Oh lord the recoil, i don't know if it's just me but the recoil no matter what is just unbearable. I have no issues with any other weapon though.. So maybe it's just a mental thing.

  4. havoc is a bait weapon imo unless it's the only thing i can pick up on spawn and unless there's a turbo charger within 5 minutes of me picking it up i always swap it out… triple take has more precision damage and devotion has better dps both function better in their extremes for the energy class. bulletdrop/ leading can take a bit more skill but the payoff is way better for sniping with the longbow/kraber/triple take. and as an assault class weapon r301 and hemlock give more bang for their back as their ammo is more readily available and they're both more accurate and do respectable damage. I've never found myself in an endgame scenario and feel like yeah I wish i had a havoc instead of any other feasible weapon :/

  5. Havoc just aint worth using over other guns. Energy ammo is more common, yet still too rare to have the ammo stockpile needed for multiple fights.

However, the devotion is such a devastating weapon, especially close range, I started using it more.

protip: single firing the devotion is a fantastic way to mess someone up at range, but that goes for any weapon.

  6. Energy weapons biggest downside, expect for the ammo being scares, is that they got no extended magazines like the rest of the guns. That means you have to reload a lot more, and that can make you loose fights, I wish they shared the same magazines with heavy, so that you could buff them
